Christopher Moody

Christopher was tragically taken from us on the 21st September 2003.

Chris was a well known lad from Morley always known as "Moody" to all of his mates. He was definitely one of the lads, he mainly had the same big group of mates throughout his life, he was loved by everybody with his cheeky smile and attitude to life, loved his beer and going out to his local pubs (Brunny!!), in his younger days he loved hanging out with mates and having a laugh.

He wasn't only a brother but he was a friend, someone I always looked up to and he was always there for me, we had so many great times together and they will never be forgotten.

Chris attended Morley Victoria Primary School then on to Bruntcliffe High School (1994 - 1999). After School he started working at WH Fabrications in Morley, making air ventilation units.

In March 2003 Chris left his work and went to live in Costa del sol with his mate Lee Wagstaff doing casual labour work on building sites. Lee went out to Spain a couple of months before Chris to find a place to live and work, and then Chris flew out to join him. They spent most of there time partying and living life to the full. Franny one of Chris's best mates went out to visit in April 2003 followed by Louise and Emma. It was a great holiday one they will never forget, non stop drinking, laughing and having a great time.

It came as a big shock to hear of Chris's death to everybody, it came so unexpected to have been taken from us at such a young age.

It was concluded after investigation, Chris was found to have died of asphyxiation and was an accidental death.

Chris was a muched loved, friend, brother, son and grandson and will be sadly missed always by everyone.

We will never forget you, miss you and love you always, you are always in our hearts and thoughts.
